Simone Biles posts heartwarming message to parents after Olympic success
Simone Biles gets emotional watching her parents celebrate after becoming the most decorated American gymnast in history at the Olympics
Biles has been spending quality time with her family since taking home four Olympic medals. The US superstar gymnast celebrated her adoptive father’s birthday with friends and family, capping off an emotional month for the 27-year-old. Biles and her six siblings were adopted by her grandparents, Nelly and Ronald, when she was six years old.
Biles revealed herself on the series “Simone vs…” She herself said her biological mother, Shannon, struggled with drug and alcohol addiction and served time in prison, and she is estranged from her biological father, Kelvin Clemons, who met Shannon when they were teenagers and also struggled with drug addiction. ・
Since then, Birz has called his grandparents to be his mother and father, and has expressed his love and gratitude to her on weekends. Bilz shared video on Instagram on how his parents danced after 75 years. Gymnasts signed a video: “My parents are very cute,” with many emotional emoticons, “47 years strong.” Ronald’s birthday was August 8th after seeing her daughter became the most decorated American gymnast.
