He has been given a newly-created role of chief technical officer by the Silverstone team and will officially begin work in 2025 after a period of leave.Team principal Frederic Vasseur has taken over his duties temporarily but recently confirmed that details of the long-term plan. “We will do the announcement after Monza,” he said ahead of last weekend’s Italian Grand Prix.Ferrari are on a high after Charles Leclerc won the team’s home race to send the Tifosi in the grandstands ballistic.
