That’s not tough actually that’s pretty easy, Byron did some pretty crazy stuff.”Nelson then took down icons in Arnold Palmer and Gary Player, before the record major winner Jack Nicklaus looked to have won it.However, he was then overtaken by the man second on the all-time major winners list, Tiger Woods, who DeChambeau even picked over himself at the very end.DeChambeau has every right to be in the conversation, though, having risen onto the scene in dramatic fashion in recent years.The 30-year-old won his second US Open in June in dramatic fashion as he capitalised on a dramatic McIlroy collapse to claim top honours on home turf once again.Two major wins puts him tied for 47th on the all-time list, tied with some of the aforementioned greats such as Greg Norman.He will have to wait until 2025 before adding to that total, having watched compatriot Xander Schauffele take over this year with wins at The Open and PGA Championship.McIlroy will have the chance to avenge his US Open defeat to DeChambeau when the pair go head-to-head in a one-off match later this year.Golfweek revealed that pairs of the biggest name players from each rival tour will go head-to-head in a made-for-TV match later this year.McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler will team up for the PGA Tour to battle Brooks Koepka and DeChambeau for team LIV.The publication says the match will be held in mid-December in Las Vegas and will be broadcast on TNT.McIlroy confirmed his participation in the event to Golfweek.“I’m thrilled to partner with Scottie in what promises to be an exciting duel against Bryson and Brooks in Vegas this December,” he wrote in a text message.
