Simone Biles returns to gymnastics training as Olympic heroine prepares for arena tour
Following her Olympic triumph in Paris more than a month ago, Simone Biles returned to gymnastics training this week while rehearsing for her “Gold Over America” tour.
The tour kicks off next Monday in Oceanside, California, and runs through a concert in Detroit on November 3rd. Biles will be joined by the rest of the U.S. women’s gymnastics team, except for Suni Lee.
All four members of the U.S. men’s gymnastics team, except for “Horse Man” Steven Niedrosik, who competes on “Dancing with the Stars,” will also join the tour. While preparing for the tour, Biles showed off unique skills she never gets to show in real gymnastics competitions: quick hands and nimble feet on the pommel horse.
Simone Biles showed off her skills this week while training for the Gold Over America TourBiles won four medals at the Paris Olympics, fueling speculation about whether she will compete in 2028.
The pommel horse is one of four men-only gymnastics events, along with the parallel bars, rings and horizontal bar. Athletes only occur in stems and uneven balance. Everyone will participate in the storage and exercise on the ground. Biles climbed to the top of the mushroom and spun around with her feet while holding the device.
The 11-time Olympic medalist finished her routine to the applause of the entire audience, just as she had done in training.
Biles won three gold medals and silver medals in Paris and did not eliminate 31 competitions in 2028 Los -ageles Games.
If the carrier of the Bails Olympics is not over, it will be the second woman who has already represented the exercises of the US team at the Olympic Games. At this point, this monumental decision seems years away.
