Former PGA Tour winner and golf commentator dies after.
Mark Carnevale, a former PGA Tour winner who commentated tournaments on Sirius XM Radio, died Monday, a week after playing in his final tournament, the PGA Tour announced. He was 64 years old.The tour has not been revealed, just saying he died suddenly.
“His humor, knowledge and enthusiasm for the game and life will be greatly missed,” the tour said in a social media post.Carnevale won the Chattanooga Classic in 1992 and was named PGA Tour Rookie of the Year. He then went on to win at what is now the Korn Ferry.

He was 64. The tour said only that he “died suddenly,” without disclosing the cause of his death.In a social media post, the tour said, “His humor, knowledge and enthusiasm for the game and life will be deeply missed.”

Carnevale won the Chattanooga Classic in 1992 and was named the PGA Tour’s Rookie of the Year. He went on to win on what is now the Korn Ferry Tour.
