Biles, a gymnast from Spring, is widely considered the greatest athlete of all time in her sport. She won three gold medals and one silver at the Paris Games and impressed Tirico in many ways, especially on her return from Tokyo 2021, where she had “trouble” and withdrew from the team final.

“I think what I learned from Simone in Paris was strength and resilience,” Tirico said. “What she faced at the Tokyo 2021 Olympics will probably prevent many from coming back. And then she decided to come back, and she was brilliant, leading the U.S. team and leading the discussion on mental health for athletes.

And in every way, she gave us an unforgettable performance that added to the glory of the Olympics. Seven gold medals and 11 common medals are incredible. I will take the strength and stability of her (not only) as an athlete, but also her as a person. ”

Tiriko, who held various high -profile events, including NFL, NBA, College and basketball football, as well as golf and tennis major during his broadcasting career, said that observing the nearby, “deleting me”.

“The only thing I always talk about Simon Bilz is that you can watch him on TV, and this is incredible, but to be at the level of events and stand at the same height of the floor as she, and see how she does alone From these falling passes and see how high it is in the air, this is the most incredible thing that you could see when you could see, ”Tiriko said. “It is amazing (especially) how she lands and sticks that landing on a regular basis. Being around the greatest athletes in sports, I’m not necessarily in awe because I get to see it in person. I’m fine with it, but it’s not just that it blows my mind. It’s Simone Biles on floor that blows my mind. “Gymnastics is a wonderful event that you can watch personally and is the best. To see how the best things are left forever.
