Was Taylor Swift’s trading with a brand for “great approval” responsible for her loss of $125 million?

They commenced online service distribution in mid-September 2024 and the renowned pop star Taylor Swift stated that they suffered a loss of $125 million despite receiving substantial acclaim. Esspots.com reported, “Several leading international brands terminated their contract worth one million dollars with Star just days after this announcement.”

Online services were first distributed in mid-September 2024, which led to the popular sports brand “Tailoraswift” losing an astounding $125 million despite positive reception. A recent report by Esspots.com states that following this announcement, several major brands have distanced themselves from Tailoraswift and pulled out millions of dollars to avoid any association with them.

The Facebook page of SpaceX FANCLUB received significant support from social media, particularly the audience. The articles featured on the page showcasing Swift photos and images of US vice chairman Camalahalis drew considerable attention. Responses to these posts varied greatly with one follower commenting positively saying “Nice tax deduction. There you go Taylor! Thanks!”. However, another user had a negative reaction and shared their opinion stating “Okay, she needs to be exposed because of her demonic influence.”

The rumor persisted on Platform X (previously known as Twitter), with a user stating, “You’re an ungrateful singer and movie star.” Despite the increasing chatter online, there was no substantiated proof that Swift’s endorsement had caused any monetary harm. No trustworthy news outlet had confirmed this allegation.

The rumor originated from a satirical piece on Esspots, a website that produces amusing and exaggerated content. The website’s “About Us” section explicitly states their dedication to presenting readers with the freshest phony news blended in with humor and satire. The SpaceX fan club Facebook page also used an image associated with this article labeled as satire.

After Swift expressed her support for Kamala Harris on Instagram, a rumor began circulating that she also backed “vegan cryptocurrency.” The Esspots article made light of this alleged endorsement by using an image of Harris alongside the pop star. Interestingly, while there were earlier reports suggesting discussions between Swift and now-defunct crypto exchange FTX in 2022, no agreement was reached; furthermore, since then she has had no ties to any digital currencies. Notably absent from Esspots’ post was any mention of Taylor’s political views or endorsements whatsoever.

Swift’s enduring partnerships with brands like CoverGirl (announced in 2010) and Coca-Cola (announced in 2013) were mentioned by Esspots. Nonetheless, there was no proof suggesting that Swift’s endorsements for Harris or any other cryptocurrency had an impact on these collaborations.

Swift has been falsely accused before, as seen when Snopes exposed rumors of former President Donald Trump threatening that she would “pay a price” for supporting her opponent. Additionally, reports claiming Swift’s boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce told Elon Musk he would “turn him into a pretzel” have also been debunked.
