Simone Biles celebrates husband Jonathan Owens’ 29th birthday from Paris: “I wish we could celebrate together”
“I love you with all my heart and I can’t wait to see what this year has in store!” the American gymnast told Owens in an Instagram post as he continues to prepare for the 2024 Summer Olympics.
On Monday (July 22), Biles, 27, posted a sweet tribute to Instagram to celebrate the Chicago Bears guard’s 29th birthday as he continues to prepare for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Along with a photo of a merry-go-round, the American gymnast wrote, “Happy birthday to my husband, best friend, confidant and party animal ❤️ Thank you for calming the storm!”
“I love you with all my heart and can’t wait to see what this year has to bring!” she added. “Let’s do it, baby 💋😘✨ I’d love to celebrate if I could, but see you soon!!! XO,” Biles concluded, tagging her partner, whom she will marry in April 2023.
Biles accompanied her sweet caption with several photos, one of which shows her resting her head on Owens’ shoulder as he sits in a white chair and looks into the camera. The three-time Olympian was all smiles in the second snap wearing the same cream button-down mini dress and chunky wedge heels, while Owens opted for a white shirt and shorts, gazing proudly at his wife in the photo.
The third photo focused on the couple holding hands and showing off their dazzling wedding rings, while the fourth and final photo showed Owens gently dipping his wife into a dance-style pose, with her bending her leg and smiling as she looked to the other. Biles, a seven-time Olympic medalist, flew to Paris last week ahead of her third appearance on the U.S. Olympic team.
Owens, who was given a few days off from Chicago Bears training camp to fly to the French capital to cheer on his wife, recently spoke to PEOPLE about watching her soar to new heights in her career. “It’s so exciting because you get to see all the work she’s done, what she’s been through, how she deals with the media and everything else, and she continues to do that,” the athlete said of her new partnership with Good Sports. “It’s just impressive and it goes back to his mindset and consistency in training. The most important thing is consistency,” he added. \ “I love seeing it, and I want to be there and become a cheerleader.
