Tiger Woods announced that he had undergone surgery on his back if a nerve lesion occurred.
On Friday, the legendary Golf Tiger Woods has adopted procedures to improve the possibility of success on the PGA tour next season, as he wants.
Woods has announced that it has undergone surgery on micronettise of the waist pillar to take into account the nerve lesion of the waist. “I hope this helps alleviate the spasms and back pain I’ve been experiencing for much of the 2024 season,” Woods added, as he “prepares to return to normal life, including golf.”
This is Woods’ sixth public back surgery and his first since 2021, when he was seriously injured in a car accident. He also underwent subtalar fusion surgery in his right foot, which cost him most of the 2023 season.
Woods hasn\’t made a start since he missed the cut at the Open Championship at Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland in July. He said afterward that he intends to return to action at the Hero World Challenge, a tournament hosted by him and set for Dec. He went 5-8 in the Bahamas. He also announced his intentions to play in the PNC Championship in December with his son, Charlie. 19-22, but Friday’s announcement did not include an official timeline for the return. The 2024 season was a tough one for the 15-time major champion. Woods opened the year at the Genesis Invitational in February but was forced to withdraw in the second round due to illness. After the selection, he played only in major tournaments, and missed the open championship and an abbreviation for the open America and the PGA championship. He played four laps in the Masters tournament and ranked 60th. Woods is still searching for the perfect way to end his legendary career, so hopefully this procedure brings him one step closer to that goal.
