Trump defends Tiger Woods from “fake news media”: “He’s very smart”

President Donald Trump has once again targeted the “fake news media,” this time defending golfer Tiger Woods. “The Fake Media worked hard to get Tiger Woods to say things he didn’t mean,” Trump tweeted Monday morning. “Tiger WILL NOT PLAY THIS GAME, HE’S VERY SMART. More importantly, that is to reconsider the golf again! \ “
Trump came to Defense Wood after a journalist questioned the legend of golf about his relationship with the president last week.
PGA’s Northern Trust journalists asked Woods that they would be interesting to have a friendly relationship with the President. \ “
\ “He is the US president,” said Woods. “You have to respect the job. No matter who’s in it, whether you like their character or their politics or not, we all have to respect the job.”

Woods is known to have played golf with the president before and after his inauguration.
