Woman dies after bungalow explodes as she suffers fatal injuries in devastating blast
A terrified neighbour told of the moment they heard the explosionA WOMAN has died after a huge explosion tore through her home in a devastating blast.The horror blaze broke out at the property in Canterbury Road, Charing, at around 11.30am yesterday.The bungalow has been completely destroyedEmergency services airlifted the woman, in a serious condition, to King’s College Hospital, in London.Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) confirmed the tragic news of her death today.The cause of the explosion is not yet known.Five fire engines, a bulk water carrier and a fire investigation team, were called to the scene and remained there until around 9.30pm last night.
