Simone Biles got a new tattoo… in memory of Jonathan Owens?
Simone Biles took time off her post-Olympic tour this week to get a new finger tattoo… Look, this looks like a tribute to Jonathan Owens.
The seven-time gold medalist visited Syzygy Precision Tattooing in Phoenix, Arizona. During a short break from appearing in Gold Over America, she got her first tattoo, a small “J” on her left arm, by tattoo artist Sydney Smith.
While it\’s unclear exactly what the significance of it is … the safe guess appears to be it\’s an homage to her NFL player husband\’s first initial. Smith tells us in addition to the letter, she also connected BILES with a tattoo of the neck, which is read, \ “made in heaven. \”
Smith said that both parts took a total of 90 minutes … and explained that the whole meeting occurred after they exchanged direct messages on social networks. “It was a great experience,” Smith said of Biles’ tattoo. “But I treat all my clients the same. It’s great to do what you love every day!”
Biles wasn’t the only Olympian to get a new tattoo during the tour… Shane Wiskas and Kazimir Schmidt also didn’t leave as they fell under the needle at Jesse Tattoo.
