Jackson Dart leads the way, while Jalen Milroe and Carson Beck prepare for a high-stakes showdown

Forget the points table! When it comes to CFB hype, the SEC quarterback rankings take center stage. Here are the rankings ahead of Week 5! And it’s time for Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss to party big. After all, their star quarterback Jackson Dart was ranked number one on the SEC’s top 10 quarterbacks list. Does that mean Eli Manning’s prophecy is about to come true? As fans race for answers, Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe and Georgia quarterback Carson Beck are set to provide fans with a high-stakes showdown on a magical night on September 28.

The Week 5 hype reached its peak when CBS Sports decided to take it up a notch by lowering the SEC QB rankings. According to analyst Brad Crawford’s analysis, no one is a better weapon than Kiffin Dart. However, Crawford didn’t just give him the top spot. Instead, he had to take note of Dart’s historic start, which puts him on par with the best SEC passers of yesteryear. The third-year starter out of Utah State could gain 1,554 yards in just the first four games of the 2024 season. That’s crazy! After all, he broke the record for most passing yards by an SEC quarterback in four games over the last 20 years. This also put Dart ahead of the impressive numbers put up by Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow during his Heisman Trophy-winning season in 2019.

If the Ole Miss quarterback is developing at such an incredible rate, it probably won’t be long before he topples two-time Super Bowl champion and New York Giants legend Eli Manning. Dart, who is keen to unearth real talent, was on Manning’s favorites list, and during a press conference, the NFL legend made a key statement: “I want (Dart) to break — I want him to probably break all my records — I want him to break them all.” I hope he has a good year and wins the SEC Championship. With dart fever in full swing, you can’t miss these two star players who will be in the spotlight this weekend.

On Crawford’s list, Alabama’s QB Milroe is third, and Georgia’s QB Beck is tied with Texas Longhorns QB Quinn Evers for fifth place. Fans have to be patient for a while to testify the magic of Darth with the grip planned on October 12, but spend the best time this Saturday this season due to the long -awaited rivalry. You can.

Well, more than the game between the second Georgia and the 4th Alabama is a QB race to secure the future in NFL. Given that, none of them is going to leave space for the other to grab the limelight, it makes the game even more thrilling. Heading into the 2023 season, nobody really knew what to expect out of the full-time starter. But Mireau threw for an astounding 590 yards and eight touchdowns in three games this season, and he’ll likely play better under “doctor’s prescription” coach Cullen DeBoer. But as far as Georgia’s quarterback goes, Beck is in a tough spot right now. In three games, he’s thrown for 680 yards and seven touchdowns, showing flashes of brilliance. It’s time for Jalen Milroe and Carson Beck to be extra vigilant. After all, Jackson Darth is lurking in the shadows, threatening to turn their project dreams into horror.
