Schroll and Aldana Record Top 10 Finishes; Jags Place Third at Pat Bradley Invitational
DORAL, Fla. | Freshmen women’s golfers Katarina Schroll and Mercedes Aldana recorded a pair of Top 10 finishes Tuesday afternoon to help South Alabama place third at the 47th Annual Pat Bradley Invitational hosted by Florida International on the Silver Fox Golf Course at Trump National Doral.South Alabama (858) entered Tuesday’s final round in third place moving up one position after carding third-round 287. The Jags fired a three-under par, 281 in the second round on Monday, which was the second-lowest score of the round on the day, to climb to fourth.Schroll (68-69-74—211) finished in a tie for sixth at the tournament after posting a pair of under-70 rounds on Monday with a season-low, three-under par 68 in the opening round, and a second-round 69. Schroll entered Tuesday’s final round in a four-way tie for first after the first two rounds of play, but dropped to sixth.Aldana (71-71-70—212) moved into the Top 10 on Tuesday and finished in a tie for ninth.
