A cast member has shared additional details about the eagerly awaited movie ‘Happy Gilmore 2’.

John Daly has confirmed in a conversation with media personality ‘Gunz’ that he will make a cameo appearance alongside star Adam Sandler in the highly anticipated sequel to the iconic film.

This new installment is set for release in Spring 2025, marking 29 years since his surprising Tour Championship victory.

Netflix earlier announced on September 9 that “Happy Gilmore 2 is officially in production,” following its return confirmation back in May. Although the streaming platform hasn’t set a release date yet, Daly mentioned to ‘Gunz’ that the movie might be available by March or April 2025.

When asked if Adam Sandler had approached him about “Happy Gilmore 2,” Daly responded, “I’ve already filmed it. We’re in the process of getting it completed… It might be released on Netflix around March or April next year.”

Throughout his life, various events have shaped him into someone different. When you meet Happy, he’s somewhat in disarray. Our goal is to help get his life back on track and moving forward once more.

Filming has commenced at several locations throughout New Jersey, such as the mini golf facility at Farmview Golf Center in Hackettstown, residential neighborhoods west of New York City, and on a beach where he was spotted with just one golf club.

As reported by Golf.com, most of the on-course filming is set to occur at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, approximately 40 miles from Manhattan and its four neighboring boroughs.
