LIV Golf have hired a new chief communications officer.
Per a release from the breakaway tour, former Nike employee Ilana Finley has assumed the role. Finley will reportedly lead ‘all global communications across LIV Golf, including external and internal communication for the League, its 13 teams and The International Series’. Before that, she held a variety of roles at Nike over an 18-year period. LIV commissioner Greg Norman said: “She knows first-hand the challenges and opportunities that exist when growing a global brand and she understands how to align competition, culture and entertainment to deliver a product that fans embrace. “Ilana is a skilled leader and communicator with a sincere passion for positively impacting teams and communities around the world, and LIV Golf is proud to have her on board.”Finley said she was delighted to be joining.
