The 63-year-old has been struggling with painful arthritis in his hip.
Since retiring from professional darts in 2018, “The Power” has been participating in the World Seniors Tour.
The 16-time world champion has faced challenges in finding his form, highlighted by a disappointing first-round exit at the Senior Championships in February due to arthritis.
To get back on track, Taylor had surgery in June to address the issue and has been using crutches ever since.
However, over the weekend, the darts legend shared a health update with his fans on social media.

In a video message, Taylor shared: “Hello everyone, it’s Phil the Power here. I wanted to let you know that I’ve had my operation and everything went well since many people have been asking about it. I’m no longer using crutches, which is fantastic.”
“By Monday, it’ll have been three weeks. In another three weeks, I’ll be back at the practice board getting ready for the seniors.”
