Simone Biles reveals next chapter with explosive insight into life and marriage
Simone Biles may be busy with her Gold Over America tour, but she still has plenty of surprises up her sleeve as she unveils the second part of her Netflix documentary, Simone Biles Rising.
The gymnast revealed that the “epic conclusion to the ultimate comeback” is now available for people to watch. It not only gives fans a behind the scenes look at how she prepared for her comeback at the Paris Olympics, but an insight into her relationship with Jonathan Owens, who supported her throughout the tournament.
Snippets saw the Chicago Bears player supporting her as she made her comeback, including some intimate moments, including them embracing at training and him lifting her up to celebrate her success. Simone’s husband paid her a surprise visit
In a confessional interview, Jonathan seemed candid about how he juggles his high-profile relationship with the gymnast, saying, “It’s hard being in the spotlight, so we try to be as human as possible with each other.”
Throughout the trailer, he was seen watching her perform on the edge of his seat, while he took a special break from preseason training with the Chicago Bears to watch Simone perform.
Jonathan was seen in the stands with his parents-in-law, Nelly and Ronald, wearing a T-shirt with his face printed all over it, as if he was a huge fan. He spoke about his support for Simone: “I love watching it from an athlete’s perspective because that’s how you become great in any sport: just be consistent and do the same thing consistently and well every day.” »
He added: “I love watching it and I love being on the field and being a cheerleader.” »
Shortly after their marriage, Jonathan faced criticism from Simone’s fans after an interview he did with the podcast “Pivot” went viral, where he claimed he was a “good match” and admitted he didn’t know who Simone was before they started dating. Simone won’t be as busy with Jonathan’s match as she would like in the coming months; she’ll be busy with her “Gold Over America” tour, which starts on September 16th.
Simone acknowledged that the fan comments affected her personally, telling Alex Cooper: “So I went on Twitter and everyone was like, ‘Divorce this guy, he’s evil.'” »
“I said to myself, he’s the most amazing person. “He compliments the ground I walk on, and I’ve never met anyone like that, to tell you the truth,” she continued. \”One night I just broke down and said: \’Why are they talking about my husband like that?\’ They don\’t know him. They don\’t know who he is and if anyone has met him, they know he\’s the sweetest guy, he\’d do anything for anybody.\”
