Darts icon PHIL TAYLOR gave his fans a healthy update after surgery to leave him on crutches.
A 63 -year -old soccer player fought arthritis with back pain. Since retiring from professional darts in 2018, ‘The Power’ has competed on the World Seniors Tour.
The 16-time world champion has struggled to regain his form, including a disappointing first-round exit from the Senior Championships in February due to arthritis. Taylor underwent surgery in June in a bid to get back on track and has been on crutches since then.

In a video message, Taylor said: “Hey everyone, Phil Strength. A lot of people have been asking about the surgery so I’ve had it and I want to let you know that everything is going well. I’m off crutches now, which is great.
“I hit three weeks on Monday. So for the next three weeks I will be on the training committee preparing for the senior class.
“Now I hope things will go back to normal, that’s the plan. See you.
Taylor has decided to finish his career at the maximum, and plans to participate in a world -elderly match in York Barbikan in October this year.
