“The newest member of Simone Biles’ family is absolutely adorable!”
Simone Biles is having one of the best years of her life, and it’s not just because of gymnastics. Her personal life is flourishing as well. Yesterday, she shared exciting news with her followers on Instagram stories—the arrival of a new addition to her family!
She shared a photo of the newest member of the Biles family accompanied by this caption:
“The most adorable little baby”
The accomplished gymnast was thrilled when her older brother, Ron, and his wife, Sammi, became parents. In addition to her roles as a gymnast, sibling, daughter, and soon-to-be bride—Simone will now take on the added responsibility of being an aunt to their little girl.
As we all know, the exceptional gymnast excels at everything she undertakes. The new addition to the Biles family will bring even more joy during the Christmas season. They have named their baby Ronni Louise Biles.
Even before the baby arrived, Simone was radiating immense love. Last month, Biles and her family gathered to celebrate Sammi’s baby shower. The multiple-time Olympic gold medalist shared several photos from the event, expressing affection for her soon-to-arrive niece with a heartfelt caption alongside one of them:
“Our baby girl is already cherished so much.”
Since Ronni became part of the family, she has taken on the title of ‘Baby Biles.’ There’s no doubt that Simone will be a fantastic aunt to her. Perhaps in a few years, we might even see young Ronni teaming up with her aunt for some gymnastics routines.
Simone Biles and Houston Texans safety Jonathan Owens have been a couple since 2020 and got engaged in February of this year.
Biles and Owens have been busy organizing various aspects of their upcoming wedding. Their preparations include buying a wedding dress, putting together a guest list, choosing a theme for the celebration, and picking out the perfect venue. They initially aimed to tie the knot in 2023 during Owens’ off-season.
Another memorable moment for Simone this year was learning about her best friend Rachel Moore’s engagement. The champion gymnast shared the news on Instagram in July, captioning her story with:
Rachel is regarded as one of the greatest supporters in the life of the GOAT gymnast.
Simone Biles entered the senior gymnastics scene at the American Cup in 2013. Since that time, she has achieved remarkable progress within the sport. Originally from Ohio, this accomplished gymnast has participated in two Olympic Games throughout her career.
Biles made her Olympic debut at the 2016 Rio Olympics, where she showcased her exceptional talent by winning four gold medals and one bronze. Her first Olympic gold came from the gymnastics team event, to which she contributed a total score of 61.833.
She claimed gold medals in the individual all-around, vault, and floor exercise events. Simone earned a bronze medal on the balance beam. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, however, she secured only two medals after having to withdraw midway through her competitions due to mental health challenges.
Simone Biles earned a silver medal in the team event and subsequently secured a bronze medal in the balance beam competition. This marked her second time winning a bronze medal for the balance beam, having previously achieved this result at the 2016 Olympics.
