Tiger Woods’s Fashion Business Finally Finds Hope After Split With $117B Giants: Latest Updates Leaves Fans Impressed

Is Tiger Woods’s Sun Day Red brand finally turning the corner after initial backlash and criticism?

Sun Day Red and the backlash from fans. Ever since Tiger Woods launched the brand after splitting with the $117 billion giant (read as Nike), it has seemed like the two almost went hand-in-hand. Besides, even those who had taken a liking to the company’s products saw themselves being looted with mind-boggling prices, especially on sites like eBay. However, it’s not as if the situation would never again take a turn for the better. Enter the brand’s new products, along with an “elevated” line for the women.

The 15-time major champ’s apparel line launched ‘The Laurie Chain Stitch Hoodie’ in two new color combinations, bone/green and light pink/cream, both of which are marked like the others, at $135. Dubbed “A performance hoodie with the mark of a champion,” it already had been available in various sizes (from S to 2XL) in nine different hue combinations before the latest launch.

That’s not all. Tiger Woods’s company also released a new line‘Sun Day Red Women’s Elevated Essentials’. The new products boast functionality alongside an elevated style, all the while being marked for a price of $110. Interestingly, unlike the Hoodies, the new line just has three colors, namely white, pink, and navy.

Till now, there has been a lot of flak aimed towards the golfer’s brand for its quality and prices. But now, it appears the business has managed to make a comeback. Many in the community were impressed with the new launches as they took to comment under the Instagram posts that announced the same.

Tiger Woods has still not opened up an international delivery system to its fans. As a result, the company only ships or bills its orders inside the United States alongside certain provinces in Canada. A fan, impressed with the new products, couldn’t help but urge Sun Day Red to deliver the hoodies internationally as they commented, “Need to ship to the UK.” Another admirer took to compliment the same as they reacted, “So cute the pink.” Even the women’s ‘Elevated Essentials’ line saw many followers lining up to comment under the post: “OMG what?! A women’s line, yay!!” and “Loving this.”

Quite a positive turnaround, seeing as how the brand had been facing a lot of backlash till now.

Is Tiger Woods’s Sun Day Red brand finally turning the corner after initial backlash and criticism?

Even when Sun Day Red opened up its first retail shop on October 11 at Pebble Beach, many in the community didn’t respond too positively to the announcement. “For the first time, Sun Day Red is available to shop in person—exclusively at Pebble Beach,” wrote the brand on its social media handle. While it was true that the athlete and the iconic course share a special connection, the golfing enthusiasts took to comment on something else entirely. For example, they didn’t fail to point out the overpriced nature of the clothes while trying to recall someone else other than Tiger Woods wearing them.

To top it all off, there were cases when people bought the clothes only to sell them on sites like eBay. The $135 worth of Laurie Chain Stitch Hoodie was, instead, marked at a whopping $220, while the Sun Day Red Cypress Fit Vent Hat cost $125 on the online commercial site as opposed to the original $50. Quite shocking, isn’t it?

Anyhow, the recent launches seem to have taken some of the problems off Tiger Woods’s back. What do you think? Did you like the recent line that the golfer’s brand launched along with the new color combination for the Hoodies?
