Teenage darts prodigy Luke Littler is now living in a luxurious five-bedroom detached house in a quiet village on the outskirts of his hometown. The World Series champion has reportedly moved his parents into the property with him, leaving their £180,000 two-bedroom semi-detached house in Warrington.

Luke ‘The Nuke’, 17, has signed a year-long lease for the £6,000-a-month property, which comes complete with a pool, spacious garden and six bathrooms. Luke shared a snap from the poolside, calling it a ‘Super Sunday’ on Instagram as they watched the football on a massive screen.

His parents Anthony Buckley, 43, and Lisa Littler, 40, also posted cosy pictures of themselves enjoying a swim, while their French bulldog Nala looked on from a blanket. Even though his old neighbourhood is now a 25-minute drive away, Luke won’t be missing out on his favourite kebabs – his new area boasts three kebab shops within less than a mile.

At his new local, The Cat and Lion, pub bosses have extended an open invitation for a game of darts whenever he fancies. Deputy Manager Lauren Gilchrist told the Mirror: “He’d be more than welcome in the pub any time. We get a lot of young people coming in now wanting to play darts because of Luke’s success and sometimes we get other professional dart players coming in too.

“It’d be an interesting match to see Luke take some of them on in the pub but I think most of the punters would be scared to play against him! ” She also mentioned how ‘Littler mania’ swept through the pub last January as crowds gathered to cheer him on at the World Darts Championship.

To meet the growing demand from young hopefuls inspired by Luke, the landlord recently installed another dartboard. She said: “Even though we don’t know him personally he only lives down the road and Warrington always comes together to support one of their own.”

Luke narrowly missed out on victory last time but will be back in the hunt this December when the contest kicks off just a month before his 18th birthday. Having made a splash on the scene at just 16, Luke is now estimated to be worth £600,000. However, former PDC Chairman Barry Hearn believes he could become a millionaire before he’s even old enough to legally buy a pint.

Speaking on the Barry Hearn Show, he said: “I think it could be this year. I am pre-judging his performances, but I’d be surprised if he didn’t to be honest with you. There are darts players out there already earning well over £1m – £2m per year as it is. That is where the sport has got to… for Luke and the sport, it is just the beginning.”
