While Max Verstappen’s performance has improved by leaps and bounds, Lewis Hamilton remains the most successful driver on the F1 grid. Verstappen could break some of Hamilton’s records in the coming seasons, with former F1 driver Felipe Massa giving his opinion as the pair battle it out for the world driver title. Max Verstappen is a very aggressive and carefree driver on the track. Verstappen has proven why he deserves all three world titles and more. Felipe Massa reckoned that the Dutchman was a ‘complete driver’. The Dutchman carried everything in terms of speed and mentality of a fighter, unlike Lewis Hamilton. Max (Verstappen) is a complete rider. He has everything, the speed and the mentality. He’s a great fighter, for him everything revolves around racing and nothing else. This season, Lando Norris has also joined the conversation about being better than Verstappen, but Massa didn’t mince words, placing the Dutchman above everyone else, even seven-time world champion Hamilton. The Brazilian believed that aggressive personality traits would enable the three-time World Champion to become the “undisputed leader” of F1. Max drives aggressively, up to the limit and sometimes a little beyond. Lando Norris has less of that. For me Max is definitely number one. Personally, I like his way of thinking.
