Former F1 driver supports Max Verstappen to ‘conclude’ title battle against Lando Norris at the Las Vegas GP.

Max Verstappen has accumulated 393 points in the drivers’ championship, while Lando Norris has gathered 331 points.

The reigning world champion, Max Verstappen, is on the verge of crossing the finish line. He leads the 2024 drivers’ championship by 62 points and has received support from former F1 driver Jacques Villeneuve to secure his title victory at next week’s Las Vegas GP.

McLaren’s Lando Norris has put up a strong fight in his pursuit of the coveted title. However, events at the Brazilian GP have essentially enabled Max Verstappen to gain an upper hand on securing the championship.

Jacques Villeneuve, the 1997 world champion, truly believes that Verstappen has a genuine chance of securing his fourth consecutive title in Las Vegas.

If Verstappen clinches the title in Las Vegas, it’s a fantastic venue for such a victory! The odds are heavily stacked in Max’s favor; he just needs to seal the deal. Securing a win there would undoubtedly affirm his status as the rightful champion. Despite this, it has been an exciting championship season with unexpected challenges posed against Red Bull and Max.

Verstappen has experienced a highly turbulent 2024 F1 season. Nonetheless, he has persevered with remarkable grit and determination to secure a commanding lead in the standings, aided by the unpredictable RB20.
