The F1 Manager series is reportedly no more, with Frontier not releasing a game in 2025.

F1 Manager series reportedly canceled, no game to be released in 2025.

The F1 Manager series arrived in 2022 with high hopes, but struggled to meet player expectations and now it appears the series is over.

This comes according to a Reddit post that appears to have come from an investor analysis of Frontier Developments, stating that Frontier will not be releasing F1 Manager 2025.

We have reached out to Frontier for comment on this rumour and are awaiting an official response, so we cannot confirm its veracity at this time.

There is no doubt that Frontier has lost money because of F1 Manager. In fact, with the gloomy sales of F1 Manager 2023, the annual report of Frontier himself until May 31, 2024 states: Manager Franchise F1® Manager2022 (released in August 2022) and F1® Manager 2023 (released in July 2023).

The F1 Manager Series seemed to have started smoothly in 2022, but when Frontier announced that the game supported a few months later to move to the release of the F1 Manager 2023, he encountered hot water.

This immediately destroyed the player base that had put up with the first game’s bugs and glitches until they were fixed after launch. Frontier later reverted from this decision, but the damage was already done.

F1 Manager 2023 sales were much worse than the first game and failed to fully rebound for 2024 despite a lower price.

Things seemed to be looking up for F1 Manager though. 2024\’s game was largely well-received and just received Update 1.9 which added new features to the game and stoked excitement in the community.

If this rumor is true, that update may well have been the new features that had already been created for next year\’s now-defunct release.
