.RB is the only team yet to announce its full driver lineup for 2025, and although Yuki Tsunoda is under contract to race for a fifth consecutive season with Red Bull’s junior team, it is still awaiting who his teammate will be.

When asked if his future had a “leader” before the round of Las Vegas this weekend, Lawson replied. “We do the normal simulator preparation, and apart from that I drove a Mustang here last year for a few hot laps – that’s my real-life track experience,” smiled the New Zealander.

I’m sure it’ll be tough, but I’m excited to race, to be in Vegas.”Continuing to talk about the RB’s chances, he said: “We struggled a lot here last year, to be honest, so obviously it’s not the best start.

But at the same time, we’ve made a lot of changes since then and we hope to understand a lot more about how to improve the car this weekend.
