.RB is the only team yet to announce its full driver lineup for 2025, and although Yuki Tsunoda is under contract to race for a fifth consecutive season with Red Bull’s junior team, it is still awaiting who his teammate will be.

When asked if his future had a “leader” before the round of Las Vegas this weekend, Lawson replied. Not over yet. “There are indications of what they (Red Bull and RB management) want me to do and what the future holds, but nothing is certain yet.”For me it’s just a matter of focusing on the races to come.
This weekend is the most important, so we’ll move on to next weekend. We’ll have a clearer picture once the season is over.
“With that in mind, Lawson is looking forward to experiencing the Las Vegas Strip for the first time in an F1 car while trying to help RB regain lost ground in the constructors’ standings.
After Alpine’s impressive double podium finish in Brazil, where the team dropped to eighth place. He scored points on his return to Austin and on his last outing at Inter lagos.
“We do the normal simulator preparation, and apart from that I drove a Mustang here last year for a few hot laps – that’s my real-life track experience,” smiled the New Zealander.
“The temperature this weekend is probably going to be the biggest factor – it’s very, very cold. I’m sure it’ll be tough, but I’m excited to race, to be in Vegas.”Continuing to talk about the RB’s chances, he said: “We struggled a lot here last year, to be honest, so obviously it’s not the best start.
But at the same time, we’ve made a lot of changes since then and we hope to understand a lot more about how to improve the car this weekend.
