Simone Biles Kisses Husband Jonathan Owens on Sidelines Before Bears Game Against the Vikings
Simone Biles kisses husband Jonathan Owens on the sidelines before the Bears vs. Vikings gameSimone Biles is doing her best to support her husband Jonathan Owens’ football team, attending a game on Sunday, November 24.
Before Sunday’s home game between the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings, Biles, 27, met up with football safety Owens, 29, on the Soldier Field sidelines and shared a sweet kiss. While Owens was in uniform (of course) and focused on the competition, Biles was in style on the sidelines.
The Olympic gymnast wore a denim bomber jacket with a navy “36” patch on the back and matching light-colored jeans. Biles accessorized her look with Gucci sunglasses and a navy blue handbag with a “36” patch on the body. (Owens is wearing her No. 36 jersey.)To add to the glamour, Biles wore her hair braided in a long bun. Biles and Owens have been together since 2020, when they met on the dating app Raya — and the NFL star didn’t even know who she was.”[I] was on [the dating app Raya] for a couple days, and then she came along. On the first date, the two athletes felt connected immediately.
After two years of knowledge, Owens proposed and married in April 2023. Since then, Biles has loved to cheer Owens on, and the feeling is mutual. He even got special permission to skip a few days of Bears training camp to watch Biles compete at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Ahead of her final Olympic competition, Biles Owens spoke exclusively to Us Weekly about the support she gets before competing.”It’s not really a motivational thing, just because I don’t want to put any unnecessary pressure on anyone,” Owens exclusively told Us Weekly in July. “I just tell her, ‘Go do your thing, baby’… As long as she’s here, she’s on the court, kiss her and we can go our separate ways.
He added: “You get a different type of focus when you only have one person to focus on. And I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with being single, but for me, knowing me, I’ve been playing a lot better since [meeting Simone], I was just focused and locked in, and you’d come home and talk about my day and play with the dogs, you know what I mean? It’s really about us.
