She went on to explain that the system felt more like a trap than a path to success. “I learned that the system wasn’t designed for people who looked like me or even acted like me.” For a long time, I was told I had to fit into an unnatural space to achieve my dreams. It felt like I was forcing myself into a mold that didn’t suit me, and it made her question her future.
