What’s actually going on with Lewis Hamilton? The official confirmation regarding this talented racer has left the F1 community in turmoil.

Hamilton vows to “bounce back” and give Mercedes a farewell with his “best effort” after the extremely challenging race in Qatar. Lewis Hamilton mentioned he will “get back up and try again next week,” following a tough weekend for the Mercedes driver in Qatar.

Hamilton encountered several difficulties during the evening at the Lusail International Circuit, ultimately ending up outside the top 10 in what proved to be an eventful race for many drivers. The seven-time world champion incurred a time penalty due to a false start and later suffered from a front-left puncture, seemingly caused by debris on the main straight. To add to his challenges, he received a drive-through penalty for speeding in the pit lane.

He promptly apologized over the radio for the false start, which ultimately caused him to lose three positions when he finally left his pit box. Later, during a conversation with his race engineer via radio, he expressed an interest in retiring from the race; however, he was advised to stay on track. Meanwhile, Hamilton experienced a puncture at the same time as Sainz did, costing him any chance of earning points.

He also expressed his dissatisfaction with the W15, citing grip and steering issues in the early stages of the race. Afterward, he explained, “We didn’t set up the wing correctly due to under-balancing. This has happened multiple times — there just wasn’t enough front wing on the car, causing it not to turn properly.” He added that significant understeering persisted for quite a while and believes this may have contributed to tire failure; however, he’s uncertain as no debris was visible when it occurred right at pit lane entry…

Hamilton ended up in 12th place—marking his first time finishing outside the points this season—but he vowed to refocus for his final Grand Prix with Mercedes at next weekend’s Yas Marina Circuit. “I’m still standing. It’s not about how you fall, but how you rise again,” he said. “I’ll get back up tomorrow and give it another shot next week. I believe the key is showing up and doing our best.”
