HOT NEWS….Norris drops McLaren BOMBSHELL as exit talks revealed.
Lando Norris has made a startling revelation about a possible departure from McLaren, disclosing that he previously had chances to leave the team which could have led to earlier victories in his Formula 1 career.
The British star began the 2024 season without a grand prix victory, but by the time 2025 arrives, they have achieved four race wins and 26 podiums. Additionally, they’ve secured a constructors’ championship for their team dressed in papaya colors.
Throughout last season, McLaren stood out as Red Bull’s fiercest competitor, while Ferrari occasionally displayed brilliance that kept the battle for team standings intense until the end.
As they approached the season finale in Abu Dhabi, Ferrari and McLaren both had an equal opportunity to clinch the trophy. Meanwhile, Red Bull was out of contention due to Sergio Perez’s consistently poor performances.
Even though both Ferrari drivers finished on the podium and Lando Norris’ teammate, Oscar Piastri, had to battle through the field following an early crash, Norris secured his fourth career victory. This achievement was sufficient for McLaren to clinch their first constructors’ title since 1998.
Despite the 25-year-old’s success last season, he has disclosed that rival teams had previously reached out to him with offers to leave his current team, where he has established a stable career.
Following the season finale in Abu Dhabi, Norris revealed that he had received offers to join race-winning teams during challenging times with his Woking-based team. However, he expressed satisfaction in having declined those opportunities as he’s now experiencing success at McLaren.
When talking about what the team’s victory would mean to him, Norris made a surprising revelation to the media: “What I will be most proud and happy about is simply being here. Remaining in papaya because I’ve believed in this team for so many years.”
Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have demonstrated that they are a successful driver duo for McLaren.
I’ve had chances to avoid being in papaya and potentially win races earlier in my career.
I had those opportunities, but I was committed to making it happen with McLaren. My goal was to succeed alongside the team that gave me my start in Formula 1.
Although we initially doubted it would be possible this year, we’re now setting our hopes on next year. Next year was always our projected target according to plan.
“Accomplishing it this year is an even greater achievement.”
