The Cleveland Browns are on a roll going into Week 9 after beating the Baltimore Ravens 29-24 last week. For the first time in weeks, there was a sense of enthusiasm and positivity around the team.

Jamies Winston was the player who best responded to all the positive energy surrounding the Browns. After taking over the injured Deshari Watson last week, Winston finished 27 out of 41 passengers in 334 yards, and was affected and had no intercept.

This was a monster set that fans guided him to be one -quarter of the team in the future even after this season. Despite his great play, former Cleveland stars spoke out about their issues with Winston:

Josh Cribbs couldn’t help but add water to Winston’s fire. He saw certain very suspicious things during the beginnings of the Vétéran quarterrière against the Ravens.

“There were so many opportunities – so as not to be a pessimistic – that this game could certainly have gone in the other direction very quickly. The Ravens missed some interceptions in this game.

“This game could have definitely been turned around quickly, the Ravens missed some interceptions. »

He’s 100 percent right. Winston was watching two very few passes from the game.

This does not take anything from what he had. If anything, it should ease fans’ expectations of what to expect going forward.

Winston could still deliver one great performance after another. But it’s important to be honest, even in those moments of uncertainty.

Cribbs doesn’t think Winston’s performance was a fluke.

He’s simply noting that there were many different opportunities that Baltimore did not take advantage of that could have made the game end up being a much different story.

All of that being said, it will be very interesting to see what kind of game Winston can have this week when the Browns take on the Los Angeles Chargers. Hopefully, Winston can continue to overcome the doubts and put in another strong performance to lead Cleveland to their second straight championship.
