Aston Martin has announced a substitute for a walk with the official team statement
Aston Martin has announced that Lance walks in the official statement in FP1 that Lance will be replaced with Grand Prix with Abu Dhabi.
The Canadian star is currently sitting 13th in the driver championship and is a difficult year for Aston Martin, and is heading for the final race of the season.
Red Bull, Ferrari, McLaren, and Mercedes fought for victory in 2024, but Aston Martin could not participate in the top without getting catwalk. However, the Silverstone-based team was not bothered by their mid-table rivals and it was a less than spectacular year for the team, with Aston Martin finishing fifth in the constructors’ championship.
With the 2024 season drawing to a close, it was announced that Stroll would miss the first practice session for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, with reserve driver Felipe Drugovic replacing him. The Brazilian star will compete in FP1 as part of a requirement for all F1 teams to run a rookie in each of their cars during a season.
Drugovich will also take part in the end-of-season test at the Yas Marina Circuit, which takes place just days after the final race of the season. “I am really excited to be driving the AMR24 again, and this time at Yas Marina, a circuit I know well having completed many test laps there,” Drugovich said in an official statement.
